PICC’s food tech conference connects Israeli and tri-state food and beverage innovators, manufacturers, investors and stakeholders. The event will feature innovation in novel ingredients and celebrating the accomplishments of BIMBO Bakeries USA Senior Vice President Robert L. Chernoff. The Greater Philadelphia region is abundant in food and beverage manufacturing, and the region boasts some of the best supply chain logistics to serve these industries. Israel has emerged as an innovation hub for food tech.
Benjamin Leavenworth, a top entrepreneur and keynote speaker, has made a great impact on prominent global corporations, including Chispa Group LLC, an international consultancy with a focus on multi-billion-dollar mining, energy, agriculture, and government projects; Cono Sur, one of the top four wine companies in Chile exporting over one million cases of wine per year across South and North America; Citibank, where Mr. Leavenworth helped lead the creation of its small business banking unit; and finally, Mr. Leavenworth helped develop the first Chilean branded beef program for the U.S. market, successfully establishing the program as the largest supplier of grass-fed beef to Whole Foods Market.
