Today at 12:00 p.m. EDT, the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia will be hosting another installment in its “Beyond Our Borders: Spotlight Chile” series, a major initiative spearheaded in partnership with Afina International’s Chief Strategy Officer and the Honorary Consul of Chile in Philadelphia, Benjamin Leavenworth.
Today’s online event will be “Combating Global Hunger and Climate Change through Food Innovation and Technology.” It will feature three industry experts who focus on this timely and relevant topic:
- Nicolas Moller, Executive Vice President of Hortifrut;
- Igor Playner, former Vice President of Innovation and Strategy and Plant-Based Proteins at Ingredion; and,
- Priyanka Srinivas, founder and CEO of the Live Green Company
As the series co-presenter, Benjamin is thrilled to be part of the World Affairs Council’s focus on the future of food. He believes in the power of business to solve global problems and that innovation and technology can help us combat global hunger and fight climate change. Additionally, the “Beyond Our Borders: Spotlight Chile” series be drafting a program itinerary to Chile scheduled for March 2022.
