AFINA CEO ATTENDS U.N. GLOBAL COMPACT DINNER AT THE 2022 U.N. OCEAN CONFERENCE
Afina CEO David Godfrey-Thomas attended a spectacular dinner given by the U.N. Global Compact at the United Nations Ocean Conference in Lisbon, Portugal. The dinner brought together leaders of government, NGOs, private industry and finance, in a united mission to collaborate to develop solutions and technological innovation to tackle climate change and restore ocean ecosystems.
Godfrey-Thomas commented, “while the dinner was inspirational, the overwhelming energy at the Conference has been that of the young, passionate and brilliant entrepreneurs who are throwing all they’ve got into creating the solutions which will save our planet. It is a privilege to witness their commitment.”
The U.N. Ocean Conference is being held from June 27 to July 1, 2022.
