David Godfrey-Thomas has more than 35 years experience in international business. Prior to co-founding Afina in 2011, he worked extensively through Europe and the Americas as a special advisor and consultant on Latin American strategy to multinational companies, organizations, and prominent families. In 2001, Mr. Godfrey-Thomas founded INCO Americas, an international advisory firm based in Mexico City. There he advised on a number of cross-border trade initiatives in the financial services and automotive sectors. He previously held executive positions managing international business intelligence and risk analysis at J&H, Marsh, and Jardines. He was born and educated in England.
